This camp invites children to connect with the beautiful community and natural spaces of Richmond through hands-on experiences they won’t find in a classroom. From trail exploration and navigation to outdoor cooking and knot tying, each day brings new opportunities to build confidence and practical skills. Along the way, campers will uncover the rich history woven into the landscapes around them. Safe, supervised, and full of discovery—this is the camp that turns curious kids into confident, nature-loving explorers.
Participants are required to bring a nut-free snack, lunch, and a water bottle. Campers will spend time outdoors daily, rain or shine, so please ensure your child comes each day prepared for the weather (rain gear and/or sunscreen and sunhat). Grade level is based on most recently completed school year.
For campers who are new to Hatch, you must complete and submit a full camp registration package to info@hatchkidslearning.com within 5 days of registration to guarantee your spot. We also encourage you to review our policies & procedures.
*Limited After-Camp Care spots available from 2pm to 5:30pm for children in Kindergarten and older for $125 per week. Please purchase this option separately.
