Camp 8: Art in 3D (4 Years-K | August 5-8)
Week 4 | August 5-8 | 9am-2pm
Ages: 4 years old - Kindergarten*
Instructor: Ms. Nina
Location: Whiteside Elementary
Our young artists will learn about elements of art such as form, space, colour, and texture as they explore a variety of processes and materials. Campers will bring their ideas and sketches to life as we take inspiration from various contemporary artists and learn more about creating 3D mixed media works of art. Join us for a week of sculpting, cutting, assembling, painting, upcycling, and creating.
Participants are required to bring a nut-free snack, lunch, and a water bottle. Campers will spend time outdoors daily, rain or shine, so please ensure your child comes each day prepared for the weather (rain gear and/or sunscreen and sunhat). Campers must turn 4 years of age before the start of the camp, must be fully toilet trained and able to use the toilet independently.
For campers who are new to Hatch, you must complete and submit a full camp registration package to info@hatchkidslearning.com within 5 days of registration to guarantee your spot. We also encourage you to review our policies & procedures.
*Limited After-Camp Care spots available from 2pm to 5:30pm for children in Kindergarten and older for $125 per week. Please purchase this option separately. Grade level is based on most recently completed school year.
